How do I use text-to-speech in the Xelion Classic Softphone?

This feature is dependent on permissions, licenses and capacity.

On the Xelion Classic Softphone, you can use text-to-speech to create a voicemail greeting for yourself.

Go to the bottom of the application window.

Press the Settings icon that looks like a wrench.

Press ‘Routing’.

Look at the section for your voicemail greeting.
You see several icons to the right of the audio field.

On this tab you can use text-to-speech. The text you type, is converted into speech by AI.

The output of an AI process must always be verified by a human. A correct or desirable result is not guaranteed.

Click the text-to-speech icon behind the audio field.
It looks like this:
A pop-up opens.

Enter the correct information in each field.

Click ‘Generate’.

Once the text of the message is processed, your new voicemail greeting is ready.

Press the play button to listen to your voicemail greeting.
