FAQ Xelion Windows App

What does my status in the Xelion Windows App mean?

The ‘presence status’ is the status that informs others of your availability and controls if you receive calls and messages. Xelion has several pre-programmed statuses, and your employer can choose to make more.

Your status can be set in several different ways:

  • you set your status manually

  • you set a ‘temporary status

  • your status is determined by your schedule

  • your status is determined by a synchronisation to a third party, such as Microsoft Teams.

What is a ‘temporary status’ and how do I set one?

A ‘temporary status’ is a presence status that you as a user can set for yourself. This status can not be overridden.

If you set your status according to the instruction in the quickstart, then this status change applies until the next ‘switch time’, when your schedule goes to another status. The ‘temporary status’ stays active until the date and time of your choice.

  • Press your avatar.
    The menu opens.

  • Press ‘set temporary status’.
    A popup opens.

  • Choose the status.

  • Choose the duration, or enter an end date and time.

  • Press ‘save’.
